A group of young men assaulted a wild stag in Wollaton Park , Nottingham. The unsavoury incident, captured by wildlife photographer Chris Golightly, shows the men pulling the stag's antlers and slapping its rump. Golightly reported the incident to a park ranger, but the group fled before they could be confronted. This follows a separate incident in January 2024 where a man was rammed to the floor by a stag in the park.
