Yorkshire continues to experience significant snowfall and travel disruptions. A 400-mile Arctic storm is expected to bring further snow and freezing rain to the UK, potentially causing widespread disruption.
Over the weekend, an amber warning was in place over most of Yorkshire with inches of snow falling overnight. This led to severe disruption on Sunday as people struggled to travel. However, snow remains on the ground in many areas and is even continuing to fall in some places. Snow is falling in Skipton and Todmorden, with more sleet to fall in Leeds.
This is set to continue throughout the day, according to met Office weather maps, with snow to fall across Bradford, Leeds and Huddersfield at around 12.30pm. Various patches of snow will continue to arrive in Yorkshire from the east throughout the day, potentially bringing even more disruption later on.
