Benjamin Glynn was arrested hours after a fellow commuter filmed him and posted the footage on social media
A British man has been jailed for six weeks in Singapore after he refused to wear a mask.
On Wednesday, Glynn, originally from North Yorkshire, was sentenced for breaking coronavirus protocols, but he was released due to time served on remand. Glynn was found guilty on two charges of failing to wear a mask, and also punished for causing a nuisance and using threatening words towards public servants.He reportedly asked the court to drop what he called ‘unlawful charges’ and for his passport to be returned so he could leave Singapore.
