A drunk policeman squeezed a woman's bottom and touched her breast during a night out

PC Adam Moreton of West Yorkshire Police was off-duty on a night out with work colleagues in Leeds when he grabbed the woman's bottom three times and touched her breast once.

He carried out the sexual assaults for his sexual gratification. His actions were repeated. There were four separate sexual assaults involving grabbing Ms A's bottom three times and touching her breast.

PC Moreton was described as being "argumentative and evasive" when giving evidence before the misconduct panel. He accepted that his actions were inappropriate but refused to accept sexual impropriety. Following the misconduct report, Detective Chief Superintendent Nicola Bryar, Head of West Yorkshire Police’s Professional Standards Directorate, said: "We make it clear to all employees on joining the police the standards we expect from them both on and off duty.
