The government is offering the money to rejuvenate its 30 remote islands
If you've ever dreamed of living on a remote Irish island in a beautiful old home, this could be your chance. Ireland has embarked on an ambitious project to revitalise its remote island communities with the Our Living Islands Policy, launched last year.
However, there are certain criteria to meet to qualify for the grant. You'll need proof of ownership or evidence of active negotiations to purchase the property, and it must be your primary residence or rented out. Additionally, you must have the right to live in Ireland and commit to residing there for ten years, reports the Express.
Wayne Mills, Head of Operations at Seven Seas Worldwide, said: "This program is for everyone, but it's especially targeting remote workers and digital nomads.
