Christopher Lloyd rose to prominence in Hollywood for his work on the Back to the Future movies where he played Doc Brown. While many people will recognize him for that role and the kooky scientist character, Lloyd is an incredibly talented actor who has been able to showcase his talents in other genres as well.

Lloyd clearly enjoyed himself in the role as he freely switches between this kindly persona and the monster. While this could have been a serious risk, placing an actor who is so well known and loved in the role of the villain could have backfired, but fortunately, through his talents and the story, it builds on the tension and creates a much more satisfying twist.
