Amazon has released the first You're Cordially Invited teaser trailer, previewing the upcoming comedy starring Ferrell and Witherspoon.
The film follows two families as they arrive at the same resort for a wedding that has been accidentally double-booked. Ferrell and Witherspoon’s family will then have to deal with the consequences that ensure.
Alongside Ferrell and Witherspoon, You’re Cordially Invited also stars Geraldine Viswanathan, Meredith Hagner, Celia Weston, Keyla Monterroso Mejia, Leanne Morgan, Jimmy Tatro, and Jack McBrayer.What is You’re Cordially Invited about? “A woman planning her sister’s perfect wedding and the father of a young bride-to-be find out that they are double booked for their destination wedding at a remote resort on an island off the Georgia coast. When both parties decide to share the small venue, chaos ensues and disaster awaits,” reads the film’s official synopsis.
You’re Cordially Invited is written and directed by Nicholas Stoller. The film is produced by Ferrell and Jessica Elbaum via Gloria Sanchez, Stoller, Conor Welch, Witherspoon, and Lauren Neustadter.
