Early on in the season, Forty also greets Joe by calling him "Old Sport" - a moniker often used by Gatsby in F Scott Fitzgerald's novella.One person said: "Me, recognizing that Forty saying “old sport” is a reference to Great Gatsby, but not realizing that this was literally and so obviously foreshadowing his death very early on in the season"
Another added: "I think that Forty saying 'old sport' is definitely a reference to the Great Gatsby.
Meanwhile, season three may not have been confirmed or commissioned yet, showrunner Sera Gamble is hopeful she can continue the story - and up the stakes for the evil protagonist."I have so many questions about Love’s mother who’s incredibly in the picture at the end of the season, like how much she really knows about her children.
