Enquiries are ongoing and anyone with information is being urged to contact officers. In a statement, a Greater Manchester Police spokesperson said: "We were called by colleagues at NWAS shortly before midday to a report of a stabbing on Waterloo Road, Manchester. "A young man has been taken to hospital in a stable condition for treatment to a suspected stab wound. and enquiries are ongoing."
