People should not have to live like this
A young mother was left facing a grim start to the year, as she had no money to buy food for her three children.
Taking to his Twitter on Sunday , James posted about a young mum who contacted him earlier that morning. She sent the plumber photos of her fridge and cupboards - stating that this was her "New Year for the next eight days." The desperate mum asked James and his team whether they could help, otherwise she would "do her best" to get food on the table for her family. As a result, Depher sent a food delivery for the family from supermarket Asda, for the following day.
This screenshot was shared along with the caption: "This food will last her hopefully for a few weeks, keeping the children safe and their mum out of debt. #HappyNewYear2023", as well as a link to Depher's Go Fund Me page.
