Evan and Lucas Macauley both earned spots at the World Junior Golf Championships in America next year.
A talented brother duo from Paisley punched their tickets to America after both won a national tournament for budding golf prospects.
The pair shone on the East Lothian links, with Lucas winning the 5-6 age category and Evan topping the 8-9 category. He told Renfrewshire Live Sport: “The boys have been playing since the age of two. Pretty much as soon as they could stand up they were swinging a club. “They’ve won various competitions in Scotland at different age groups. They qualified for the Wee Wonders tournament after winning their regional and Scottish qualifiers.
Evan and Lucas are extremely close on and off the golf course, with dad Callum believing the coronavirus pandemic brought the pair even closer together.
