'Back in the day kids played football in the street but they can’t do that now'
Budding young footballers have been enjoying improving their skills at Motherwell FC Community Trust’s summer camps.

Dawn Middleton, Chief Executive of Motherwell FC Community Trust, explained: “Back in the day kids played football in the street, they can’t do that now. They come here and we let them play. We don’t coach them and have them dribbling round cones.For younger children aged 3 to 5 years there’s a five-day Mini Steelkids camp kicking off on Monday, August 5.These sessions are designed to be fun, interactive and will follow a story theme to capture the imagination of each child.
