The under-8s from local side Little Bayern took on the challenge
A group of football-mad youngsters raised vital funds to help save Zoe's Place children's hospice with a challenge spanning the city's two Premier League grounds. The under-8s from local side Little Bayern dribbled from Goodison Park to Anfield in aid of the hospice , which is at risk of closure by the end of the year.
The group of eight players started out pitchside at Goodison and finished off at the home of arch rivals Liverpool, dribbling 5km along the way. Their route took them through Stanley Park, and organisers said both football clubs had been supportive of their efforts. Little Bayern had started with a £200 target, which they smashed more than five times over.
