The United Nations Sustainable Development Solutions Network Youth PH and 60 other groups stood firm against the adoption of the proposed Vaporized Nicotine Productions Regulation Act or the vape bill. “The youth is very vulnerable to this… We see that we will do this when we grow old, and this should stop. Please protect us, the youth,” Alonte said in Filipino in a statement on Tuesday, Feb. 1.

The bill has been transmitted by Congress to Duterte following the ratification of the bicameral conference committee report.
