British rapper and YouTube star Yung Filly has been arrested after being accused of rape and assault. The alleged offences are said to have taken place in Australia with the 29-year-old, whose real name is Andres Felipe Valencia Barrientos, arrested in Brisbane on Tuesday.
Magistrate Tanya Watt granted him bail but imposed strict conditions including a ban on contacting his alleged victim or posting on social media about the case. He must also stay in Western Australia, report daily to police and post a personal $100,000 cash surety - about £50,000. Some of his recent destinations include Dubai, Spain, Qatar and Miami. And taking to Instagram back in 2022, he jetted off to Ibiza.
Months after his Ibiza escapade, Filly teamed up with A Jewellers who designed and created a custom-made jewellery piece for him, which he named 'Frequency'. The item was created to represent a "personal conversation" Filly had with his friends where they realised they were on the same wavelength.He told the jewellers: "I get moments in my career where it makes me realise how far I've come," to which one jeweller replied: "You need trophies for your success.
Supercar In a TikTok video shared earlier this year, Filly said he had purchased a luxury custom car – despite not having a driving license at the time.
