Yvette Cooper was on Good Morning Britain as she was grilled over a number of key topics
Pontefract MP Yvette Cooper faced a grilling on Good Morning Britain as she dodged questions this morning . The Home Secretary was interviewed on the ITV show's Friday segment , where presenters Paul Brand and Kate Garraway challenged her on various issues, including the government's stance on tackling anti-social behaviour, their position on arresting Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, and her opinions on assisted dying.
Ms Cooper responded that it "is not a matter" for the Home Secretary, stating that ICC cases do not typically involve British law enforcement or the government, reports The Express. The Home Secretary later remarked: "It would not be appropriate for me as Home Secretary to comment on speculative processes because it is important that those are followed."
