Zara McDermott is in crisis talks with ex boyfriend Sam Thompson after splitting earlier this week, reports claim.
It comes after Zara, 23, reportedly cheated on Sam during her time on The X Factor: Celebrity last year, where she competed with fellow Love Island stars Wes Nelson, Samira Mighty and Eyal Booker in band No Love Lost. “Zara regrets it and feels terrible. She knows it was a huge mistake and is extremely upset,” the insider continued to tell Mail Online.
A few days later she added another post, which read: “Trust takes years to build, seconds to break, and forever to repair" followed by "I'm proud of my heart. It's been played, stabbed, cheated, burned and broken… somehow still works.”
