Former Love Island star Zara McDermott made a triumphant return to Strictly Come Dancing, this time as a supportive friend to TOWIE's Pete Wicks. The reality TV queen and her boyfriend Sam Thompson sported matching T-shirts, jeans, and caps featuring Wicks' face as they cheered on their mate.
Zara McDermott made a triumphant return to Strictly Come Dancing on Saturday night for the first live show, following her 'incredibly distressing' experience on the previous series. The 27 year old former Love Island beauty graced the Strictly dance floor last year, but it was later revealed that during training her professional partner Graziano Di Prima kicked her - something his representative confirmed was true. The Italian dancer was quickly dropped from the show by the BBC.
Pete has been gearing up to hit the dance floor with his professional partner Jowita Przysta. In an exclusive interview with OK! Pete revealed that he didn’t actually watch Strictly until Zara took part last year.
