The Royals let their hair down last night for Taylor Swift's first London The Eras Tour show, and Zara Tindall put in a very glamorous appearance in a surprisingly affordable £60 gold sequined bomber jacket
We often spot the Royals on official events wearing outfits we'd fight to have in our own wardrobes. The problem is that a lot of the time they aren't very affordable for us on tighter budgets.
Though Zara hasn't confirmed the jacket is New Look, our head of fashion Zoe says it's more than likely considering it features the same collarless design, gold sequined fabric, elasticated white cuffs and bomber-like shape. Considering the outfit is clearly for one night only, we also wouldn't be surprised if the Royal didn't want to throw hundreds of pounds at an outfit she's unlikely to wear again.
This glitzy outfit is very different to what we're used to seeing Zara wear, and it seems to swerve away from Royal dress protocol. Though not directly breaking any rules, it's said that Royal family members should wear a smart day dress or trousers teamed with a jacket or cardigan even for casual events. We're not entirely sure a crossbody pink bag teamed with a glittery bomber jacket could be classed as 'smart', but it's certainly fun nonetheless.
