"I believe that the ministry needs new approaches and other formats of interaction with both the military and society at large." He also oversaw the expansion of the nation's armed forces, as well as its transition away from old Soviet-era systems toward more modern alternatives.Mr Reznikov has yet to release a statement or comment on the decision.
Investigative journalists in Ukraine have also unearthed instances of overpayment for basic supplies, such as eggs, and clothing, in a sign some within the armed forces were seeking to make money from the war effort. In the past weeks, Mr Reznikov has repeatedly faced questions from the press about his future, but insisted any decision lay in the hands of President Zelensky.
