The D23 Expo has given us a first look at the Zootopia 2 logo as it appears on a cityscape standee at the event.
The annual expo will be showing off fresh Disney goodies of all kinds, and that will include plenty of anticipated sequels to its biggest properties.2 was on the way, but there’s been no real information on what it will be about. This display offers a tease for fresh information or even a first look at the sequel to the 2016 animated hit.The Zootopia 2 display shows the logo, which has a swishy tail on the number 2.
The original Zootopia was released in 2016 and won Best Animated Feature at the Academy Awards. It also managed to grab $1.025 billion at the box office on a budget of $150 million, which is pretty impressive given that it was an original IP. Determined to prove herself, Officer Judy Hopps, the first bunny on Zootopia’s police force, jumps at the chance to crack her first case – even if it means partnering with scam-artist fox Nick Wilde to solve the mystery.
