MANILA, Philippines — ZUS Coffee Thunderbelles head coach Jerry Yee revealed that he is selecting Thea Gagate in the first-ever Premier Volleyball League Rookie Draft 2024. With its goal to revamp the program of ZUS , Yee said that they needed height and mobility. 'It's consensus already on who is the number one , because you needed that, the height and mobility. There is no approval yet but we all agreed on the first name we wanted, we hope for Thea.
There are only one to two players for each position. Usually, you have three, or four per position.'With SGA finishing as cellar dwellers in the previous PVL 2024 All-Filipino Conference , Yee embraces the challenge that comes with him as a head tactician. 'It is a challenge since you can't say that you are a new team to have a lackluster performance. Or at least for us, we don't want to start in that way. We will fight.
