PRINCE Andrew's Chinese 'spy' pal Yang Tengbo has threatened to bring down the royal family, according to biographer Andrew Lownie. Yang, described as a 'close confidante' of the Duke of York, was even invited to Andrew's birthday party in 2020 and supported him through his recent scandals. Lownie believes this is the 'most damaging' of Andrew's scandals, claiming that it will lead to greater transparency about royal finances and renewed scrutiny of Andrew's wealth and spending.
Yang was banned from the UK on national security grounds after a tribunal hearing concluded that he had not been honest about his links to the Chinese state and could exploit his relationship with the duke and other public figures.
