Wild weather could bring disruption to the area after the city enjoyed warmer temperatures this week
A yellow weather warning for thunderstorms has been issued for Leeds, as the Met Office warns disruption could be caused.
The weather warning has been put in place from 2pm to midnight on Sunday, September 10. The Met Office warns that flooding of homes and businesses could happen quickly, with damage to some buildings from floodwater, lightning strikes, hail or strong winds.Forecasters say: "Where flooding or lightning strikes occur, there is a chance of delays and some cancellations to train and bus services.
Despite the wet weather, temperatures could still reach a maximum of 28C. Of Sunday's weather forecast, the Met Office said: "Bright or sunny spells, and any fog or low cloud soon clearing.
