Pennsylvania law mandates that juveniles ages 10 and older who are accused of murder start out in adult court. But his lawyer may seek to move the case to juvenile court.

Susquehanna Township police conduct an investigation Tuesday night after an 18-year-old was found slain in a building in the 3600 block of Brookridge Terrace.A 13-year-old this week became one of the youngest people to ever be sent to Dauphin County’s jail after being charged with fatally shooting anZahkee B. Talib-Davis, of Harrisburg, was arrested Wednesday on charges of first-degree murder in the death of Tyron Perrin, as well as a charge of carrying a firearm without a license.

As a juvenile, the teen’s public-facing criminal docket would go dark and he could be ordered to one of several levels of rehabilitative treatment through age 21, when his life would hit a kind of automatic reset. But for now, Talib-Davis is getting the full adult treatment, including having his name and mugshot released to the public.

Grove’s case is still pending in York County courts. His attorney, Farley Holt, is seeking to transfer the case to juvenile court.after being accused of fatally shooting his 9-year-old brother in the head after a disagreement over a game. That case has since been moved to juvenile court.
