Julie Lock said: "The food is amazing and always great friendly service. The fillet steak is fantastic too."Classic pub grub is served, such as fish and chips and burgers. I'm not vegan but always go for the best cakes."The historic inn benefitted from a stylish £1.5m makeover in 2019, which proved a game changer. It now serves fresh seasonal food with menus for breakfast, lunch, dinner and Sunday roasts.
Pete Brooksbank said: "Nan Tei is Nottingham's 'other' Japanese yakitori restaurant and while the food isn't as refined as the Michelin-featured Kushi-ya, the incredibly friendly owner is nonetheless knocking out some really good stuff. Excellent value for money too."A casual spot for brunch or dinner with the flavours of the Mediterranean. Mornings are all about eggs, pancakes and toast, while pizzas, burgers and pasta are served from noon.
