Kerr had already inked a two-year contract with his former junior club starting from 2024, but has been granted an early release – making him available for selection for the Dolphins’ next game against the Eels in Round 17. Having previously worked under Dolphins’ coach Wayne Bennett in the 2020 Queensland State of Origin squad, Kerr is the final addition to the Dolphins' top squad for 2023 with the club's 30-man roster now complete.to a two-year contract extension that will see him remain with the premiers until the end of 2025.
The 27-year-old made his NRL debut against the Raiders in Round 7 last year and has chalked up 15 matches in the top grade. He was part of the club's NSW Cup premiership-winning side in 2022 and played five Tests for Tonga last year.
