Hyndburn Police ventured out with the DVLA and Hyndburn Council to remove untaxed, abandoned and road-unworthy vehicles off the streets. The force were responding to community concerns around road safety and took vehicles that were deemed unsafe.
The police stated: "We know that these vehicles can be an eyesore for those who live, work and visit the area, but they can also cause real safety issues due to access.
