Emergency crews responding to a diesel tanker on fire in DeSoto, Texas
is asking residents to evacuate the area near West Parkerville Road and South Cockrell Road after a 5,000 diesel fuel tanker caught fire on Friday, city officials say.
Desoto Fire Department says no other cars were involved and the driver of the tanker was not injured. Residents in the areas highlighted red are being asked to evacuate, according to Desoto officials.
