The window has closed but there are a number of players still stuck in transfer purgatory
The transfer window has come and gone but there are still a number of Celtic stars whose futures are yet to be resolved.
The last-minute rush though did lead to a number of players being pushed down the pecking order, with minimal time to arrange routes out of the club before the windows closed in the UK and the big leagues in Europe. One of those being Maik Nawrocki, who now appears entirely surplus to requirements after Auston Trusty's late arrival from Sheffield United.
Liam Shaw is another Celtic are likely to be open to moving on if they can with any chance of a Parkhead revival looking decidedly unlikely for the midfielder. He spent last season on loan at Wigan and, with just a year to run on his contract, seems likely to be allowed to leave for free if he can find a new club.
