While the big four fashion capitals – New York, London, Milan and Paris – may be gearing up to showcase their autumn/winter trends over the next few weeks, one of the world's most up-and-coming fashion cities has just given us something of a preview into the season ahead.
LOW-RISE SKIRT SETS The low-rise waist has been big news for over a year now – thanks in large part to everyone from Givenchy and Stella McCartney to Zimmermann, Proenza Schouler, Nensi Dojaka and Sandy Liang championing them within their spring/summer 2023 collections – but as we move into late 2024, the look is elevated to new heights with the introduction of the trend into the world of skirt sets.
