A 64-year-old driver died Friday when she ran a red light at a Franklin County intersection and crashed into another car, police said.
Connie L. Seville, of McConnellsburg, was driving east on Route 30 when the crash happened at about 7:26 p.m. at Fort Loudon Road in Peters Township, Pennsylvania State Police said. State police said Seville went through a steady red light and crashed into a car driving north on Fort Loudon Road through the Route 30 intersection.
Seville was extricated from her car after the crash and pronounced dead at the scene. Her passenger, a 36-year-old McConnellsburg woman, was seriously injured, state police said. State police said the other driver, a 49-year-old Spring Run man, was not hurt.
