Fans feel 'victimised' by the Grammy winner.
Lauryn Hill and The Fugees have cancelled gigs with no explanation Days before they were due to take to the stage, Lauryn Hill and The Fugees have scrapped their celebratory tour. The Miseducation Anniversary Tour 2024 was due to kick off in Tampa, Florida on August 9 before making its way across the US and over to Europe later this year. No announcement has been made by Lauryn, 49, or the 90s group — which consists of Lauryn, Wyclef Jean, and Pras Michel — about the cancellations.
It was previously postponed in November after Lauryn revealed that she was struggling with vocal issues. ‘As many of you may know, I’ve been battling serious vocal strain for the past month. I made it through each show by taking prescribed prednisone, but this can be detrimental to the body when taken in large amounts over long periods of time,’ she shared on Instagram.
