The new academic year is almost upon us and we all have a favourite teacher that we still remember from our school days. Some are remembered for teaching Merseyside kids decades ago, whereas others have worked across the generations. As the new school year starts, tonnes of newly-qualified teachers will be starting their careers in new classrooms for the first time.
