With the general election only a week away, one couple in Middleton shared how defeated they feel about the prospect of Keir Starmer taking over number 10.
Christine said: “Having experienced a Labour government, through the years, we’re in for a rocky ride and the young ones doesn’t realise it.Ray, who labelled the Labour leader a ‘waste’, agreed with his wife’s candid comments, saying: “I say the same, that lady over there, my misses, she said the right thing.”

Regarding taxes, he just wants taxes that will help ‘rebuild the country and be fairer on everybody’.
