A superb team effort on what was a difficult match throughout last Saturday saw Liverpool Angling Society take 8th overall in the Angling Trust Division 1 national held on the Leeds Liverpool Canal at Wigan. Forty one teams of ten anglers from all over the country competed within this one, a match that was expertly put together by the officials of Wigan & District Angling Association and one that stretched from Wigan Town Centre back to the Saracens Head at Halsall.
Anglers pay tribute to leading legends Over at St Helens and visiting the vast water of Carr Mill Dam, St Helens Angling Association will be holding the Ged Rigby two day festival this coming weekend, once again to honour one of the best feeder anglers that's graced the circuit.
