Motorists are facing delays on the A52 in Nottingham after a two-vehicle collision closed one westbound lane at Dunkirk Island. The incident, reported at around 1.30pm on Tuesday, January 28, has prompted Nottingham Travelwise to warn drivers to exercise caution in the area.
Motorists are experiencing delays on part of the A52 in Nottingham following a crash. One of the westbound lanes has been closed at the Dunkirk Island due to the two-vehicle collision, which was first reported at around 1.30pm on Tuesday, January 28.
Nottingham Travelwise, which monitors traffic across the city, said: "A52 Westbound at Dunkirk Island. 2 vehicle RTC has caused lane 1 to be closed. Please take extra care if you are travelling through the area." The A52 is a major road that links Nottingham and Derby. The route has recently been impacted by works near Queen's Medical Centre, which have been needed to repair the roundabout's bridge - which was damanged by a lorry in 2018.
