It is a big period for Brenden Aaronson and the American international hopes his versatility will boost his chances of regular game time at Elland Road
It will be fascinating to see if Brenden Aaronson can give Leeds United an extra dimension in the final third this season. The USA international got his first taste of pre-season action on Wednesday afternoon as the Whites strolled past Hannover 96 in their latest pre-season outing.
When asked how Farke might use him over the coming weeks and months, Aaronson told LeedsLive: “I’m versatile, but the main thing for me is just being among the ball. One of my biggest things is when I have the ball and I'm getting a lot of touches, I feel I can be very influential. “Sometimes, like last year at Union , it wasn't like that. To be back and be having the ball a lot and being in between the lines and creating, that's the game plan for me, to be in those types of areas, creating and looking to get the team forward.”
“So I think it’s really great to be back and see the guys and I think I’ve been smiling the whole time and just really excited to be back. I mean, from the first couple days that I’ve got here, I said that it’s so professional, it’s super high standards, and I really liked that, you know, because I think that it creates this team."
