A charming cat cafe that recently opened its doors in Dartford is offering a haven for seven kittens who were sadly abandoned just before Christmas. Located on Chatham High Street, Mrs Slocombe's Cat Cafe welcomes customers to interact with the adorable six male and one female siblings. These kittens, discovered abandoned in a cat carrier, join the cafe's existing nine rescued felines, creating a purrfectly delightful atmosphere.
Co-director Jackie Cousins, touched by the kittens' plight, made the heartwarming decision to take them all in. 'They've always been together!' she explained, emphasizing the importance of keeping the siblings united. Joining Jackie in this compassionate endeavor is fellow co-director Glinda Bishop. Together, they are committed to supporting local animal rescue centers and mental health initiatives.The kittens, aptly named Miss Brahms, Captain Peacock, Mr Lucas, Mr Rumbold, Mr Grace, Mr Harman, and Mr Grace, are set to become ambassadors for their cause. Glinda Bishop shared their hopes, stating, 'We hope we can be a big part of the community and maybe assist charities that help people with mental health issues.' The cafe promises a unique and heartwarming experience, allowing visitors to enjoy a cup of coffee while interacting with these lovable felines and supporting important local causes
