Thai restaurant Lemongrass, based in the Liverpool area of Wavertree, posted CCTV footage on its Facebook page of the man and woman as they appeared to run off without paying their bill.

They posted pictures of a man, wearing a black North Face jacket, and a woman, wearing a light blue t-shirt, entering the restaurant and being shown to a table. Video footage later shows the pair smoking outside the restaurant, before making off without paying the bill. People in the comments on the restaurant's Facebook page said they felt "embarrassed for them" and called them "an absolute disgrace".
