John Rankin believes on-form Akheem Rose will only get better as he continues to settle in at New Douglas Park
Hamilton Accies boss John Rankin says the best is yet to come from January signing Akheem Rose after the striker netted for the sixth time in his last five games in yesterday's win over Edinbugh City.
But Rankin revealed the Jamaican was playing with a slight injury - which forced him to come off midway through the second half - and he expects him to causes even more "mayhem" for defences once relationships with his team-mates strengthen. "Once we get that relationship with him and the players about how to run and when to run, he will make a huge difference.
"He plays with a smile on his face and even though he was struggling with his calf, he is telling me he is fine and he is smiling because he is enjoying his football and that's an important thing for a player.
