Juan Carlos Morgan Munoz, 31, was arrested early Saturday morning. Police were called around 12:10 a.m. to the 2500 block of West Northwest Highway and determined a motorist, identified as Morgan Munoz in the affidavit, had hit and killed a pedestrian about 30 minutes earlier. //According to the affidavit, he was believed to have been traveling north in the 1800 block of Story Lane and to have continued driving without stopping to render aid.
The affidavit said Morgan Munoz refused a blood draw and officers later obtained a warrant to draw his blood. Morgan Munoz was booked into the Dallas County jail on felony charges of collision involving death and driving while intoxicated , as well as a hold out of Tarrant County for driving while intoxicated, jail records show. He did not appears in online Dallas County jail records Tuesday night.
