Alvaro Vasquez, 27, was booked into the Dallas County jail Wednesday on a murder charge in the fatal shooting of Carlos King, 44.
It was unclear whether he has an attorney.King was shot about 4 p.m. Tuesday in the 2400 block of Kathleen Avenue, near Garrison Street and Fordham Road. Dallas Fire-Rescue took him to a hospital, where he died, police said.Police wrote in the affidavit that King and an unnamed witness had just arrived at the home from picking up King’s other children at school when they saw Vasquez standing near the entrance wearing a dark-colored ski mask and a red-hooded shirt.
