A man is facing a murder charge in connection with a fatal shooting Tuesday afternoon in east Oak Cliff, Dallas police say.
Police said 27-year-old Alvaro Vasquez was arrested on the charge in the fatal shooting of 44-year-old Carlos King. Vasquez was booked into the Dallas County jail Wednesday morning, according to online records. It is unclear if he has an attorney.Officers responded about 4 p.m. Tuesday to a shooting call in the 2400 block of Kathleen Avenue, near Garrison Street and Fordham Road.When the officers arrived, they found a man, whom police identified as King, shot.
