A diagnosis with Parkinson’s disease six years ago influenced their decision to finally get married.

After Nolan went solo, he played in her band, where the two began dating the same year before popping the question in the 1990s.
It was a long engagement for the couple, as the two had finally tied the knot on the famous Blackpool promenade, among their loved ones, including Nolan’s sisters Coleen, Linda, Anne and Maureen., the bride wore a beaded champagne gown as she carried a yellow and white bouquet that matched Anderson’s buttonhole. Parkinson’s disease is a progressive disorder that affects the nervous system. One of the first symptoms might be a tremor in just one hand before the tremors intensify and become more noticeable, according to theThe two originally planned to have a small ceremony but it wasn’t until Linda found out about their plans that she convinced the two to throw a larger event.
“When we arrived at Festival House I realized we’d forgotten the flowers that Linda had paid a fortune for, and I thought she’d be so hurt if I didn’t walk down the aisle with them — so my poor brother had to rush back and get them,” she added.
