While practicing yoga is possible all by your lonesome, practicing it with others brings with it a special kind of energy.
After two years of virtual celebrations, the Embassy of India in Manila brought together some 200 yogis from different parts of Metro Manila at the Music Hall of SM Mall of Asia for an in-person celebration on Tuesday.
For 75 minutes, yogis shared positive energy with fellow practitioners, bringing harmony between the mind and body through a series of postures called "Asana" and breathing exercises dubbed as "Pranayama." With the pandemic affecting many a person's mental health and well-being, being able to practice Yoga together with a solid community felt truly special.
