Police were called to reports of a single-vehicle collision
A crash between a motorbike and a lamppost left a road closed at Preston Docks for more than six hours.
Emergency services, including an air ambulance, rushed to the scene at Navigation Way shortly before 4pm on Sunday . and closed the road from the junction with Portway to the Swing Bridge. Officers warned the road would be closed 'for some time'. Pictures from the scene shared on social media showed a cordon in place.
In an update at 10.42pm last night, a force spokesperson said: "We let you know earlier that Navigation Way from the junction with Port Way to Preston Dock Swing Bridge in Ashon-on-Ribble, Preston had closed due to a road traffic collision. We can now let you know that the road is open for you to travel.LancsLive has contact Lancashire Constabulary for further information.
