An Alabama man is facing several charges in Yates County after deputies said he used Snapchat, Instagram and other social media sites to intimidate a child into sending sexually explicit content .
"This came in through an interview that was conducted through the Child Advocacy Center of a child that began with some concerning online activity," explained Yates County District Attorney Todd Casella. "From there, the investigation unraveled." "The allegations are that the individual engaged in an online relationship of a sexual nature that was with a child while he was in Alabama and the child was here in Yates County," Casella explained.
