Aldi will once again but shutting its doors on December 25 and 26 this year.
Aldi has issued a warning to all shoppers this festive season as all shops will be shut on Christmas and Boxing Day.
The supermarket has confirmed the 2023 closures which are in line with previous years to once again "thank its colleagues for all their hard work". Richard Thornton, Communications Director at Aldi UK, said: “We recognise that Christmas is an important time for many of our colleagues, and keeping our stores closed on Boxing Day gives them more time to spend with their families.
It comes after the supermarket announced it is recruiting 3,000 store roles ahead of the festive period for jobs including Store Assistants, managerial positions and cleaners. The starting pay for Store Assistants at Aldi is £11.40 per hour nationally, and £12.85 per hour inside the M25.
