It is the only supermarket to offer paid breaks
Aldi is recruiting new workers in Northampton as a result of its continued expansion in the area. The UK’s fastest-growing supermarket is currently recruiting for 18 Store Assistants, ranging from 10 - 30 hours per week.
The firm is looking to hire for these roles at its Wellingborough Road store in Weston Favell. They pay all Store Assistants at least £11 an hour nationally and £12.45 for those inside the M25. Aldi also remains the only supermarket to offer paid breaks. From July, starting pay for Aldi Store Assistants will increase to £11.40 per hour nationally and £12.85 within the M25. Paid breaks for the average Aldi store colleague will be worth £927.Aldi is a multi-award-winning who offer "one of the best working environments and competitive benefits packages" in the UK supermarket sector. There is also the chance for colleagues to develop and progress with flexible contracts available.
